About

A.M.E.N. , Alcorn Ministry for Emergency Needs, is a non-profit, community-centered food pantry. It was established in 1993 to feed hungry people in Corinth and Alcorn County, Mississippi. Since its founding, the AMEN food pantry has fed over two thousand families in Alcorn County. In 2008, almost 7,000 people were given aid, and the numbers continue to rise. The pantry is run entirely by volunteers and help is always needed.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes, and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.    Matthew 25:35
